Lobster Hooping season opened Friday, September 29^th at 6pm. Lobster Hooping (Fishing) is a fun and exciting adventure. Since California Spiny Lobster tend to hide in rocks during the day, and come out at night to look for food, it is a night-time activity. Lobster hooping trips are 4-6 hours long. We recommend leaving the dock half hour to an hour before sunset. All Lobster Hooping equipment and bait are provided. All you need to bring is what you want to eat and drink and a valid one-day California Fishing License (or a yearly California Fishing License with an ocean enhancement) and a Lobster Card.
